LED Streetlight Collective Procurement Opportunity: A Round Table Discussion with MAPC

LED streetlightsIf your city or town is looking into procuring LED streetlights, participation in MAPC’s group procurement process is an opportunity to secure competitive pricing for these fixtures.

All prospective participants are invited to a roundtable discussion on the specifications for bid documents, and to exchange ideas and on experiences with current LED streetlight projects. Representatives from the City of Boston and the Department of Energy Resources, as well as others with experience in the LED street lighting field will be present to help answer questions about the process.

If you plan to attend, please email Helen Aki at haki@mapc.org no later than 5 p.m. on Wednesday, November 3, with a brief description of the retrofit project your city or town is interested in pursuing. Please specify whether your city or town owns its street lighting infrastructure, or if it is managed by NSTAR or National Grid.
