The Future of Route 9: Can We Achieve Growth Without Gridlock?

First in a series of public meetings on Route 9

Join us for a public meeting with guest speaker Randall Arendt, a nationally renowned land-use planner, site designer, author and lecturer. Randall Arendt is an expert on the topics of commercial corridor redevelopment, planning and design. He is also the founder and president of the consulting firm Greener Prospects.

The MetroWest Regional Collaborative and the Metropolitan Area Planning Council are working with Framingham, Natick, Southborough and Wellesley on a Route 9 MetroWest Smart Growth Plan. 

This plan will focus on the potential for compact, mixed use (housing, office, and commercial) developments along Route 9 that are pedestrian and bicycle friendly.
