Municipal Services Coordinator, Metro West Regional Collaborative
The MetroWest Regional Collaborative (MWRC), a coalition of MetroWest communities addressing planning and governance issues that cross municipal borders, seeks a Coordinator of Municipal Services. Formerly the MetroWest Growth Management Committee, MWRC also serves as a subregion of the Metropolitan Area Planning Council.
The Municipal Services Coordinator is responsible for managing the agency’s shared service and regionalization projects, preparing and administering grants, working with member communities and developing and advocating legislative priorities for MetroWest. In addition to municipal governance and shared services, MWRC focuses on issues of regional significance such as land use, transportation, and mitigation of development impacts. Candidates should have an understanding of municipal governance and finance and a basic understanding of planning principles. Minimum 2 years experience with public or municipal administration, or a related field; Master’s Degree in such field preferred. Excellent communications skills, confidence and resourcefulness in a public service setting are essential.
Full-time position with excellent state employee benefits package, including health, vacation and retirement plan. Flex time option negotiable. Valid driver’s license required. The position remains open until filled. Salary range $38,000 to $48,000 depending on qualifications. Candidate must have legal visa status to work in USA.
