The Minuteman Advisory Group on Interlocal Coordination (MAGIC) is a subregion of the Metropolitan Planning Council (MAPC), the regional planning agency for the 101 cities & towns in Metropolitan Boston. MAGIC is comprised of 13 municipalities: Acton, Bedford, Bolton, Boxborough, Carlisle, Concord, Hudson, Lexington, Lincoln, Littleton, Maynard, Stow, and Sudbury.

South Shore Green Communities Forum - January 2009

Over 100 South Shore residents, municipal officials, advocates, and business owners attended a South Shore Forum in January 2009 to hear about the Green Communities Act and to discuss opportunities for regional collaboration.

South Shore Coalition - April 2010 Renewable Energy Workshops

The South Shore Coalition organized two Renewable Energy Workshops in April 2010 for municipal energy committee members, town staff, and advocates to hear from experts and share information.  Thanks to our presenters and the dozens of participants who attended the workshops! 

North Shore Task Force (NSTF)

The North Shore Task Force (NSTF) is a group of 16 communities north of Boston working collaboratively on regional issues. The goal of NSTF is to cooperate with, and to assist, each member municipality in coordinating its planning and economic development so as to obtain maximum benefits for the North Shore district.

NSTf communities include:

Three Rivers Interlocal Council (TRIC)

Three Rivers Interlocal Council (TRIC) is comprised of thirteen communities south of Boston that work to encourage cooperative action concerning growth and development within the area.

SouthWest Advisory Planning Committee (SWAP)

The SouthWest Advisory Planning Committee (SWAP) is comprised of up to twenty members representing ten communities southwest of Boston.

Minuteman Advisory Group on Interlocal Coordination (MAGIC)

North Suburban Planning Council (NSPC)

The North Suburban Planning Council (NSPC) is composed of eight towns and one city that have formed a voluntary association to facilitate cooperative regional planning. The goal of the North Suburban Planning Council is to preserve the characteristics and physical attributes that distinguish the region as an attractive and desirable place to live and work.
