MAPC Director of Clean Energy, Cammy Peterson, will present and answer questions about clean energy programs NSPC communities can get involved with. We will also hear about CTPS’s technical assistance programs, review our annual work plan, and brainstorm ideas for meeting topics for the current fiscal year.

Join us on Thursday, September 21st at 1:00pm in Hingham Town Hall. We will be joined by Peter Forman, President & CEO of the South Shore Chamber of Commerce, to discuss South Shore 2030: a comprehensive economic and community development plan for the South Shore region. Peter will present the findings and critical strategies that have come out of South Shore 2030 and Ralph Willmer, Principal Planner at MAPC, will discuss MAPC’s role in the process. The Boston Urban Agriculture Strategy is a project in partnership between MAPC, GrowBoston (the City of Boston’s urban agriculture initiative), and the Urban Farming Institute (UFI). The Lex250 Commission invites community members to hear directly from four artists chosen to develop concepts for a monument to honor the 250th anniversary of the Battle of Lexington in Belfry Hill. This is a hybrid event. Community members are invited to attend in person or virtually via Zoom. Artists will present their concepts for the Lex250 Monument virtually and there will be a time for Q&A with the artists following artist presentations.
