Local Guidelines for Resilient, Efficient, and Affordable Buildings @ Zoom (Virtual)

Melrose, Malden, and Medford worked with the MAPC to collaboratively develop sustainable and resilient building design guidelines for residential and mixed-use developments and retrofits. These voluntary guidelines will help these communities encourage developers to build more more affordable housing that is energy-efficient and climate-resilient.

MAPC’s aims are to respond to questions and serve as a resource to those interested in pursuing funding available through the Tech Hubs Program. This session will provide a more detailed understanding of the application process, eligibility criteria, and connect you with other interested parties.

This opportunity is for government entities, higher education institutions, tech industry groups, economic development organizations, workforce organizations, and other potential consortia members.

Lex250 Monument Artists’ Concept Presentations @ Hybrid

The Lex250 Commission invites community members to hear directly from four artists chosen to develop concepts for a monument to honor the 250th anniversary of the Battle of Lexington in Belfry Hill. This is a hybrid event. Community members are invited to attend in person or virtually via Zoom. Artists will present their concepts for the Lex250 Monument virtually and there will be a time for Q&A with the artists following artist presentations.
