The breakfast is an opportunity for members of MAGIC, who include planners and members of the select board, to learn a bit more about the legislative and policy priorities for your districts, and learn about the policy priorities of the Metropolitan Area Planning Council’s (MAPC) – the regional planning agency that coordinates MAGIC. Legislators are invited to discuss their accomplishments from the past legislative session, and priorities moving forward.
At this Legislative Breakfast, we will honor U.S. Representative Congresswoman Niki Tsongas for her service. She represents Massachusetts’ 3rd Congressional District, and has served in the House since 2007. In 2018, Congresswoman Tsongas is not seeking re-election, and we will celebrate her service at the breakfast.
Join us for the premiere of “Living Together,” an original short film by Mariona Lloretta. It’s the stories of five Greater Boston residents, their lived experience, and their hope for the place we all call home.
