Biography:

Abigail Bennett is an Arts & Culture intern at MAPC conducting data and spatial analyses on Metro Boston culture initiatives and related community engagement. Her focus is on analyzing and interpreting community feedback to help municipalities target culture-based investments where they can make the greatest impact.

Prior to joining MAPC, Abigail interned with the Planning Division at James City County, Virginia, where she conducted analysis of mobile home distribution throughout the municipality in preparation for the county’s application for the federal Preservation and Reinvestment Initiative for Community Enhancement (PRICE) grant.

Abigail is currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in urban studies at William & Mary, where she has conducted additional research regarding urban development, including an analysis of housing costs in Raleigh, North Carolina. Her work in arts and culture planning is inspired and informed by her experience as a professional muralist.
