Biography:

Allie joined MAPC in 2023 as a Clean Energy and Climate Planner II. In this role she supports the development of the regional climate action plan and works with municipalities on electric vehicle and charging infrastructure deployment, climate action planning, and permitting reform.

Prior to joining MAPC, Allie was a fellow at the NYC Mayor’s Office of Climate and Environmental Justice. In this role she supported the rule-making process for NYC’s building decarbonization law and researched the possibility of generating carbon offsets by retrofitting affordable housing. Allie also worked as an energy consultant at Guidehouse. At Guidehouse Allie evaluated grid modernization, energy efficiency, and other utility programs in Massachusetts, New York, New Hampshire, and Arizona. She supported the development of Connecticut’s battery incentive program, created models of microgrids, planned EV infrastructure programs, and studied the barriers to electrification in affordable housing.

Allie earned a Master’s in Technology and Policy and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from MIT. During graduate school, Allie was a Research Assistant at the Climate Pathways Project, where she researched the equity and affordability impacts of building decarbonization policies.
