Ms. Wall, a land use planner whose work focuses on zoning and permitting, has been with MAPC for nine years. She has been the project manager for several successful zoning projects, including re-zoning downtown Marlborough, Littleton, Foxborough, Rockport and Winthrop Center. She provided zoning and by-law drafting expertise to the Downtown Winchester rezoning project. She also developed a model parking-bylaw toolkit that allows communities to customize parking techniques to better manage parking supply and demand. Ms. Wall has provided zoning analyses and recommendations to encourage transit oriented developments along the Green Line Extension and in Dedham, Gloucester, Dedham and Wakefield. She has also worked on streamlined permitting projects in Canton and Randolph and contributed to Best Practices Model for Streamlined Local Permitting, a guidebook produced by the Massachusetts Association of Regional Planning Agencies. She is skilled at visioning and meeting facilitation.
Before MAPC, Ms. Wall held planning positions with the Boston Redevelopment Authority, New York City Planning Commission, and the Harvard University Planning Office.
Ms. Wall holds a Master of Science degree in Urban Studies from Georgia State University, a master’s degree in Library and Information Science from Simmons College, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Massachusetts, Boston.
