Biography:

Ellyn joined MAPC in 2022 and is a Visual Designer. As part of the communications team, she supports all aspects of internal and external branding, providing top-to-bottom design and style assistance to departments and projects, works closely with Digital Services to develop and design digital products, assists with e-marketing, and performs daily website maintenance.

Before joining MAPC, Ellyn worked as the Graphic Design Administrative Assistant at L.A. Burdick Chocolates, where she edited images for their social media and website, created and distributed e-blasts, and owned the print production and administration of product description and store signage materials. Previously, Ellyn worked in South Carolina at the state’s largest newspaper, The Post and Courier, as the Marketing Graphic Designer. During her time at The Post and Courier, she designed visual communication to promote the newspaper’s owned events, journalism, and subscriptions through print, digital, and day-of materials.

Ellyn earned a Master of Fine Arts in Graphic Design at Boston University as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Arts at Elizabethtown College.
