Eric is MAPC’s Frontend Developer. He builds responsive interfaces for progressive web applications with a focus in user experience. Recent work includes the Local Energy Action Plan Dashboard, which visualizes energy consumption and expenditures for every municipality in the Commonwealth.
Eric has worked as a consultant offering web services for small businesses in the Chicagoland area for most of the last decade. He has also worked for Apple in Chestnut Hill and Creative Arts at Park in Brookline where he educated all ages about the internet and making technology approachable. Before joining MAPC, he worked as a Full-stack Developer and DevOps Engineer at Northern Illinois University’s Residential Technology department building applications and infrastructure that enabled the housing staff to streamline their daily processes with ease. While completing his undergraduate degrees, Eric participated as a student lecturer and peer mentor.
Eric graduated from Northern Illinois University with a double BS in Computer Science and Mathematics with concentrations in Theoretical Computation and Numerical Math.
