Guadalupe Garcia joined the Arts & Culture department as an intern in October 2019. She is currently working on the Watertown Public Arts Master Plan and doing research for the Regional Arts and Culture Indicators Project.

She is a M.A. candidate in Urban and Environmental Planning and Policy at Tufts University. She has an undergraduate background in Architecture and Latino Studies, and is interested in connecting her passion for arts and culture to her studies of urban planning. She is originally from Miami, Florida but has been living in Boston for the past four years. She has completed a fellowship in the Boston Office of New Urban Mechanics and an extended internship with the Welcome Project in Somerville.
