As a Full Stack Web Developer, Ian designs and develops web applications to help solve problems in the region that can be addressed by software and the Internet. Recently, he has been considering how to streamline and digitize municipal road construction permitting to save taxpayer dollars and reduce the inconvenience often caused when utility companies need to repair underground infrastructure.
Ian spent 2017 working on Parlinet, a startup to help people understand and participate in their local government without having to run for office. He led a team of engineers to develop a prototype and conduct a beta test in Londonderry, NH. Previously, he developed software for IBM and Google as well as government technology companies like Agora Townhall and Quorum Analytics.
Ian graduated from Olin College with a BS in Engineering focusing on software development and user-centered design.
