Biography:

Jasmine is a clean energy intern at the Clean Energy Department of MAPC. She performs research analyses on municipal clean energy projects and policies to facilitate their development and implementation. She also studies the ways municipalities approach clean energy and decarbonization while understanding the policy and market difference between Massachusetts and other jurisdictions.

Prior to joining MAPC, Jasmine interned at a clean energy leasing company in Beijing, China in 2024, where she worked with the project management team and performed research and on-site visits for developing and implementing new clean energy projects in the region, including solar panels and wind farms, for the net-zero emission goal.

Jasmine is a current undergraduate student pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Studies and Data Science at Wellesley College.
Areas of Focus: clean energy, environmental sustainability and resilience, environmental policy, policy cross-comparison, qualitative and quantitative data analysis.
