Clean Energy Specialist II
Jesse Way joined MAPC’s Clean Energy Department in May 2021. As a Clean Energy Specialist II he leads clean transportation projects, supports climate action planning, and provides technical assistance to communities.
Most recently, Mr. Way worked for The Cadmus Group as a Senior Analyst on their Sustainability and Energy team. In this role, he supported public sector and nonprofit organization with climate strategy development and policy analysis. He also supported a range of clean transportation projects for state and local governments, including supporting the development of a Clean Transportation Roadmap for the State of New York and working with a group of cities via the Urban Sustainability Directors Network to develop a playbook to increase access to electric vehicle charging for renters.
Prior to working at Cadmus, Mr. Way was a Climate Policy Analyst at the Northeast State for Coordinated Air Use Management (NESCAUM) where he worked with state regulators to advance the market for electric vehicles.
He holds Master of Environmental Management from Duke University’s Nicholas School of the Environment and a B.A. in Economics and Environmental Studies from St. Lawrence University.
