Jessica joined MAPC in 2021 as a Transportation Planner. Jessica works with MAPC’s Transportation team to identify and understand transportation-related challenges and opportunities for the Boston Metro area. Her responsibilities include communicating with Boston area transportation leaders and communities.

In August of 2020, Jessica completed her graduate thesis on 3-Dimensional crosswalk design as a pedestrian planning device. For this study she used an eye emulation software to better understand the safety perspectives of 3-Dimensional Crosswalk designs in transportation planning. Most recently, Jessica interned at the Boston Intelligence Platform BldUp. Over the past nine years, Jessica has also worked in financial services and education.

Jessica holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English and Ethnic and Gender Studies. Jessica completed her Master of Arts degree from Tufts University in Urban and Environmental Policy and Planning. She is a member of American Planning Association.
