Biography:
Marine is a Clean Energy Intern in the Clean Energy Department at MAPC. As part of her internship, she contributes to the Climate Heat Resilience Project and the Metro Mayors Cool Roofs 2.0 Project. Her work involves community heat mapping, supporting community engagement, writing a white paper on cool roof policy and conducting preliminary site selection for cool roof installations in the MAPC region.
Before joining MAPC, Marine worked in the solar energy sector as a solar project coordinator at Crauderueff & Associates in New York City. She also has experience in clean energy research at the Center on Global Energy Policy in New York and governmental affairs at the Nuclear Energy Institute in Washington D.C.
Marine is currently pursuing her master’s degree in City Planning at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, with a focus on environmental policy and planning. She also earned a dual bachelor’s degree in political science and sustainable development from Columbia University and Sciences Po Paris.
Area of expertise: renewable energy, environmental policy, GIS, data visualization and interactive design.
