Research and Planning Intern
Taylor Perez joined MAPC in March 2019 as a Research and Planning Intern in the Data Services department. She will be supporting work on the MetroCommon 2050 research agenda and other assorted research activities.
Taylor is a senior in the Department of Earth and Environment at Boston University, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Analysis and Policy and a master’s degree in Energy and Environment. Prior to her position at MAPC, she worked as a research assistant on the City’s Carbon Free Boston project. Her work there aimed at understanding the spatial distribution of energy resources and the equity-related implications of carbon mitigation strategies. She spends most of her time outside of work painting, playing guitar, and collaborating with local artists.
