Lynn Community Health Assessment

The City of Lynn Health Division is conducting a Community Health Assessment (CHA) to support healthier outcomes for residents. A CHA is an opportunity to connect, listen to, and elevate health priorities of Lynn residents and local stakeholders. It provides direction for new partnerships, investments, and programs that tackle health outcomes, particularly those that are root causes of health inequities.

The assessment will create a comprehensive picture of conditions of and contributors to the health outcomes for Lynn residents and identify assets and opportunities for the Division of Health. It represents a significant opportunity to address the risks to and opportunities for better health of Lynn residents as well as to re-envision how public health services are delivered in the city.

The CHA will result in an action plan for how to address identified community health needs and opportunities and enhancement to local public health services. Following the substantial impacts COVID-19 had on the health of the community, the investment in a needs assessment and action plan positions the city and its residents to be better prepared and even more resilient in the face of future threats to public health.

This investment is made possible through American Rescue Plan Act funds by the City of Lynn.
