A Three-Phased Initiative
Phase One
| November 2023 - February 2024 |
Existing Conditions Analysis
This initial phase spans about 3.5 months. It focuses on gathering and reviewing existing data, conducting stakeholder meetings, and analyzing the current state of the Wood Road area.
Phase Two
| March 2024 - August 2024 |
Community Visioning Process
Spanning approximately 6 months, this phase engages the community to shape the vision for Wood Road, using tools like surveys, focus groups, and workshops.
Phase Three
| September 2024 - November 2024 |
Implementation Matrix Development
The final phase, over a period of 3 months, concentrates on developing a comprehensive implementation plan based on the findings and community input from the earlier phases, culminating in a final report.
Final Deliverable
The final deliverable for the Wood Road Revitalization and Mixed-Use Development Initiative comprises an implementation plan and final report. This report will summarize the findings from each phase of the project. It will present strategic recommendations, community insights, and actionable steps to transform Wood Road into an innovative and economically vibrant area. Finalized on March 26th, 2024, this detailed report marks a significant milestone in our journey to transform the Wood Road area into a dynamic hub of innovation and community engagement.

Initiative Kick-off Meeting
MAPC and the Town of Braintree held the Wood Road Revitalization and Mixed-Use Development Initiative kick-off meeting at Braintree Town Hall.
