Biography:

Alexa DeRosa joined MAPC’s Data Services Department in January 2023 as a Regional Planning Analyst. As a member of the Analytical Services team, she conducts research and data analysis and creates maps to help support MAPC departments in advancing regional goals.

Before joining MAPC, Alexa earned a master’s degree in public policy with a concentration in Sustainability and Climate Change Policy from Northeastern University. During graduate school, she was a Research Assistant on projects related to voting rights, climate finance, and the state child welfare system. As part of her graduate program, she completed a co-op at the MBTA where she worked as a Research Assistant contributing to various projects related to transit equity and public reporting of transit data.
