Biography:
Alison Felix has served as a transportation planner with MAPC since 2009 and now serves as a Principal Planner and Emerging Technologies Specialist. Ms. Felix is an active member of the Women’s Transportation Seminar (WTS) and has been Co-Chair of their Newsletter Committee for several years. In 2007, she was the recipient of WTS-Boston’s ‘Member-of-the Year’ award. She is also a member of the American Planning Association (APA).
Ms. Felix has also worked for Parsons Brinckerhoff and the Boston Redevelopment Authority as a Senior Planner. From 1999-2006, Ms. Felix worked for the Boston Transportation Department as a Transportation Planner where she was involved with reviewing proposed developments to assess transportation impacts, ensure compliance with transportation policy goals, as well as developing mitigation strategies.
Ms. Felix holds a Master’s Degree in Regional Planning from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and is AICP certified.
