Biography:
Camille Jonlin joined MAPC in 2022 and is a Senior Economic Development Planner within the Land Use – Economic Development Department. She works with local communities across the Boston metropolitan area on a wide variety of projects that support equitable and sustainable economic development, with a particular focus on small businesses, commercial districts, workforce development in the clean energy sector, and municipal economic development planning. Camille has focused on small businesses through multi-municipal small business resilience strategic initiatives, including commercial leasing guidance and research into anti-displacement strategies. Camille also coordinates municipal collaboration within the MetroWest subregion of Metro Boston.
Prior to joining MAPC, Camille worked with an economic development agency in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where she facilitated business attraction of life science and climate tech companies to Pittsburgh. Camille conducted sector-based research and strategic mapping, collaborated with real estate developers and public officials, and helped companies navigate state and local business incentives.
Camille is a graduate of Carleton College and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Anthropology with a minor in Russian.
