Biography:
Diana Marsh joined MAPC in 2025 as the Manager of the Land Use Generalist team. She oversees and contributes to land use and policy projects with member communities across the MAPC region, helping to promote sustainable and equitable development patterns and advance the goals of MetroCommon2050. Diana also helps spearhead strategic regional initiatives through cross-collaboration with other MAPC departments, municipalities, and subregions.
Diana comes to MAPC with two decades of experience in private sector consulting working for public and private clients, most recently as the Director of Urban Design and Planning at DREAM Collaborative in Boston. Before that, she worked at Phillips Preiss in the NY / NJ area, the Cecil Group in Boston, and Calthorpe Associates & EDAW in the Bay Area.
Diana holds a Master in City & Regional Planning from the University of California, Berkeley, and a B.S. in Civil & Environmental Engineering from Cornell University. Diana is a certified planner with the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP).
Areas of expertise: zoning, design guidelines, and form-based codes, urban design, and conceptual site planning, redevelopment planning, transit-oriented development.
