Biography:

Evelyne St-Louis (she/her) joined MAPC in 2025 as a Principal Planner in the Land Use Department. In this role, she contributes to local and regional land use plans, affordable housing initiatives, and equitable economic development efforts.

Evelyne comes to MAPC with prior experience from the public, private, and academic sectors. Before joining MAPC, Evelyne was the lead project manager for the Equitable Development Data Insight Training (EDDIT) initiative, a collaboration between UC Berkeley and the University of Toronto. Through this initiative, Evelyne helped provide technical assistance, research support, and data literacy training to municipal leaders dedicated to furthering equity in their communities. Prior to this, Evelyne worked as a Senior Planner for the City of Hartford, CT, and an Associate at Strategic Economics, an urban economics consulting firm based in the San Francisco Bay Area. In these roles, Evelyne reviewed development applications, supported affordable housing policy and planning, contributed to transit-oriented development plans, and conducted market and economic analyses.

Evelyne earned a Masters in City Planning from the University of California, Berkeley and a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from McGill University.
