Biography:
Nina Miscioscia joined MAPC’s Municipal Collaboration Department in 2024 as a Grants and Procurement Coordinator. She supports MAPC’s grants management work on behalf of the homeland security councils in the Commonwealth, as well as the Region 3 Health and Medical Coordinating Coalition. Nina also serves as co-coordinator with Jenifer Wallitsch of the Region 3D Public Health Coalition and lead Coordinator of the Region 3 HMCC Hospitals group.
Before joining MAPC, Nina worked as a Contracts Intern in F-22 Sustainment at BAE Systems Inc. in Merrimack, New Hampshire. She also served as a Legislative Intern in the Massachusetts State House under State Representative Joan Meschino, where her work focused on research related to coastal preservation, climate resiliency, and legislative initiatives aimed at advancing childcare and improving protections within the Massachusetts Foster Care system.
Nina’s experience included a Global Citizenship and Research internship with School the World, where she contributed to projects and curriculum designed to bridge language barriers. Earlier in her career, she supported Puddingstone Place’s mission to assist children with developmental disabilities as a Marketing Intern, while also supporting the staff during the pandemic.
Nina is a graduate of Providence College where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Women & Gender Studies in 2024.
