Biography:
Will Pfeffer joined MAPC’s Digital Services department in 2022 as the agency’s first Civic Technologist. His work focuses on Digital Equity throughout Greater Boston, including broadband access in public and affordable housing, digital literacy, and device access.
Prior to joining MAPC, Will worked as a consultant for MetroLab Network supporting recipients of the National Science Foundation’s Civic Innovation Challenge. Previously, Will worked as a Senior Program Manager at Code for America supporting the organization’s national volunteer network, as a Program Coordinator at the Boston Area Research Initiative at Northeastern University, and as a Program Coordinator at the Ash Center for Democratic Governance and Innovation at Harvard Kennedy School.
Will graduated from the University of Colorado, Boulder with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and International Affairs.
