City of Beverly Artist in Residence

2021

MAPC's Arts and Culture Department is supporting the City of Beverly's pilot Artist-in-Residence program.

Artist team "Zooguu," comprised of Jennifer Gubicza and Brian Gubicza, were selected as the City's first Artists-in-Residence through a competitive Call for Artists issued in June 2021. The pair specialize in imaginative fiber arts, soft sculpture, illustration, and paper cut art.

MAPC is supporting city staff with artist selection and program management; to document and evaluate the program's impacts; and to find resources for funding and staffing a permanent Artist-in-Residence program.
