Consider Future Sea Level Rise

Winthrop 17.24.010 Ordinance of 07-19-2022 (1) | Code of Ordinances | Winthrop, MA | Municode Library requires that applicants use the Massachusetts Coast – Flood Risk Model to identify the projected likelihood and depth of flooding with 2.4 feet of sea level rise. The language requires that projects not deflect or direct flooding to other properties considering future sea level rise and provides authority to impose conditions that protect against current and future flooding.
