Biography:

Leidy Diana joined MAPC in April 2022 as a Regional Resource Coordinator to the Public Health Team. She engages with the community in a variety of ways providing multilingual information, and local resources available including food banks, elder care, behavioral health, housing assistance, and long-term support. Leidy Diana also collaborates with community partners and connect patients with local community health resources including Vaccines for Children (VFC) in the Chelsea and Revere health departments.

Before joining MAPC, Leidy Diana worked in the Community Engagement Outreach team in the City of Revere. She worked with residents and state officials to slow the spread of COVID-19. She also provided general assistance with rental relief programs such as RAFT, ERAP and ERMA, and assisted with SNAP applications . She regularly conducted wellness checks for residents in need and provided referrals to social services including mental health assistance.

Prior to joining the Public Health Department, she worked in the hospitality industry as a Food and Beverage Manager where she was responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of food and beverage operations, including budget management, team leadership, coaching, excellent customer service, menu design, and compliance with health and safety regulations. She planned, staged, and directed events while monitoring day-to-day operations and generally overseeing a fine dining service.
