April 10, 2018
8 a.m. – 10 a.m.
Maynard Golf Course
50 Brown Street | Maynard, MA 01754
The breakfast is an opportunity for members of MAGIC, who include planners and members of the select board, to learn a bit more about the legislative and policy priorities for your districts, and learn about the policy priorities of the Metropolitan Area Planning Council’s (MAPC) – the regional planning agency that coordinates MAGIC. Legislators are invited to discuss their accomplishments from the past legislative session, and priorities moving forward.
At this Legislative Breakfast, we will honor U.S. Representative Congresswoman Niki Tsongas for her service. She represents Massachusetts’ 3rd Congressional District, and has served in the House since 2007. In 2018, Congresswoman Tsongas is not seeking re-election, and we will celebrate her service at the breakfast.
Please note that this webinar date has changed: instead of November 14, it will be held on November 13.
MAPC is working in partnership with the Barr Foundation to accelerate climate resilience in the region by funding six to 15 near-term, low-cost interventions with our new Accelerating Climate Resiliency Mini Grant Program. Learn more here.
Applicants are strongly encouraged to attend MAPC’s webinar program. Interested parties can attend in person at MAPC’s offices or online. Email Darci Schofield at dschofield@mapc.org with questions.
