2025 Fall Council Meeting Highlights Arts & Culture, Local Leaders Awarded
Nov. 3, 2025 - Representatives from the 101 cities and towns in the MAPC region, gubernational appointees, state and City of Boston officials, and guests came together for MAPC's Fall Council Meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 29. Lizzi Weyant delivered her first Executive Director's Report, and we would like to thank all who joined us for this important event.
A special thanks to our guests who shared their expertise and insight as part of our "Creative Foundations for a Thriving Region" panel:

MAPC would also like to congratulate the individuals who received the Legislators of the Year, Legislative Staffers of the Year, and the Representing the Region Community Engagement Awards. Representative Carmine Gentile, who represents the municipalities of Sudbury, Wayland, Marlborough, Concord, and Lincoln received the Legislator of the Year award.
Both Hirak Shah and Victoria Daigle Mori, deputy chief of staff/legal counsel and district director in the office of Senator Bruce Tarr were named Legislative Staffers of the Year. Crystal Rosa, language access manager for the City of Cambridge, received the Representing the Region Community Engagement Award.
